Drag Race Unveils Untucked Moving To WOW Presents YouTube Channel

In yet another unexpected twist, World of Wonder dropped the bomb that the behind the scenes spin-off series to RuPaul’s Drag Race, Untucked: RuPaul’s Drag Race would be moved from airing on Logo immediately following Drag Race to its YouTube channel WOW Presents the morning after.

10941032_10152670174057828_4638529254836414034_nSome responses we’ve seen have been negative, others positive. The negative arguments, “I don’t want to wait until the next morning to watch online.” And while the scheduled release will be 9 PM EST, that means for the west coast viewers, who already have the 3 hour wait on Monday night, it evens the playing field. That is if you want to be up at 6 AM PST after you’ve probably been out watching the show with your favorite drag pals and dancing afterward at the club. Heck, maybe you’ll still be up from the turn up. While the west coast has to wake up early to get that worm, it means that those on the east coast who start work at 8 AM will have to sneak their online usage to watch the show. Or if you have the self control or don’t need to see Untucked as it “airs” one click and you can watch away.

The positive comments have been, “great because I don’t have Logo.” This gives the international and non-cable or “selective providers” that don’t have Logo as part of their lineup a chance to watch what happens without having to illegally obtain the feed. It also gives you the opportunity to hear what happens without any censors or commercials. “This is the viewer’s chance to see what really goes on behind-the-scenes at RuPaul’s Drag Race. It’s not just untucked – it’s uncensored, unhinged, and unapologetic, bitch. Just like Madonna,” said World of Wonder founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato⇑.

One thing is for sure, RuPaul and the World of Wonder folks are not going to miss one single opportunity to tease the hell out of this season. From the Snapchat clues of the cast, to the change in the scheduled release of the season premiere date, this season is definitely full of twists and turns and it hasn’t even started. But get this, by our calculations, the newly announced Drag Con, the first ever Drag Convention being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on May 16-17, should be the weekend before the announcement of Season 7’s winner. If that’s not brilliant… it’s brilliant, the end.

Tune in Monday, March 2 at 9/8 CT on Logo to watch the next season of RuPaul’s Drag Race then check out WOW Presents on Tuesday morning at 9 EST for Untucked in a new format. Let us know what you think, there are so many changes so far, how do you like it?

RuPaul’s Makes That Money Money Money Money Money

RPDRs7-premiere_partyTake a good look at what’s happening these next couple of weeks. While the UK is Ru-watching Season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race on Netflix, Mama Ru is taking her queens from Season 7 around the United States, while her former cast is Battling it out on Battle Of The Seasons. Meanwhile, Logo is pumping advertisement after advertisement that Season 7 starts in just over a week. As if that weren’t enough, World of Wonder announced that they would be hosting the first ever Drag RuPauls BOTS 2015Convention in Los Angeles, California in May, right about the time when we’ll find out who the top 3 or 4 are being revealed or possibly even the next drag superstar is crowned.

Let’s not forget, Covergurlz 2 released a couple weeks ago and we’re already getting “New York City Beat” crammed into our heads by watching the tons of WOW Presents webseries “Alyssa’s Secret,” “Bro’Laska,” “Really Queen?,” “Dirty Dish,” “Fashion Photo RuView,” “Ring My Bell,” “Raja Drawja,” “Cher Tweets,” “Transformations,” “Living For The Lipsync,” “Milk’s LegenDAIRY Looks,” and Delta’s new show “Dear Delta.” Obviously, RuPaul is among the best marketing packages in the world. She’s among the likes of Disney, let’s see a Ru World please. Those would be some Extra special rides and some fierce entertainment with charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.

DragCon

Thank you RuPaul (if you ever see this), you made this thing called drag a more respected and accepted form of art. You’ve given those who didn’t know what to do with this overwhelming feeling of dressing up in a way that is counter to what society calls normal absolutely fabulous and sought after. You’ve set a great example of what you can do despite struggle and not fitting the mold of what success looks like.

Get your tickets to any of the events mentioned, by clicking on the links provided above and be sure to keep up on all the WOW Presents fun with the queens or RuPaul’s Drag Race Past.

Bullying Queens By Spreading Rumors

We were on the fence about talking about this, but felt compelled to do so. There is a drag performer (we will not call this person a queen as we feel the title is undeserving) who makes videos claiming he heard several of the RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants have HIV, are child molesters and even bringing in their parents on the hate. We have reported this person to various social media outlets in the hopes that somehow we can help stop this cruelty.

There have been photos circulating that some of the RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants are HIV positive and they’re on tour to infect people, this photo even includes Mama Ru. There is also a photo of one of the finalists of a season and partner claiming she’s a cheater that got him infected and still spreads it around. The disgusting things this person is saying need to be stopped.

However, we will not give this person more exposure (whatever the size of our audience), but do recommend if you know who we are talking about, please report these images and videos. They are malicious and uncalled for. No matter what anyone’s HIV status is, that’s his/her own business. If people experienced problems with their families, again, that’s no one’s business. And we’re pretty sure none of the queens have enough money to hide incidents with police from the media.

We are Drag Queens Galore and we approve this message.

The Married Life of Joslyn Fox

As many of you know, we had the great privilege of meeting the wonderful, kind and cute Joslyn Fox and speaking with her for an interview. What you might not know is the interview went much longer than expected and we covered so much stuff we thought we’d break down the conversation into pieces. We thought we’d start with the beautiful relationship between her and her husband Andre.

The love story of Patrick Joslyn more commonly known as Joslyn Fox and Andre Girouard is a beautiful one, reflective of a “typical lesbian” relationship they dated for a few months and then Joslyn moved in and they’ve been together for 6 years, 4 of which they were engaged. But the impromptu wedding at the reunion, has a story of its own. The original plan was for Joslyn to surprise Andre with the wedding, but no sooner had she spoken with producers and shared the “secret” with Andre than they decided they didn’t have the time to include it. So Joslyn went on with life and didn’t think anything of it, literally up to and including when Andre was the next one to ask a fan question.

Andre was in touch with the producers the entire time and able to hide it from Joslyn by adding the producer as “Dad” into his phone. Being trusting as she is, she did notice Andre’s “Dad” was calling him way more than usual, but believed him when he said everything was fine. Andre is normally such a shy person, Joslyn can’t even bring him to the stage for songs she’s dedicating to him, so she never would have thought he’d be able to get into the spotlight in such a manner. When he got up to read the fan question she thought “Andre, now is not the time to go to the bathroom, the camera’s right there!” And when he went toward the microphone she thought, “you’re going the wrong way, the bathroom is back there!” He got up and asked to get married then participated in the wedding all in front of a live audience and later aired on national television and she’s so proud of him for doing so.

She told us about all the clues she missed including the crew looking for flowers, Joslyn told the crew, “I’ll help you look for the flowers!” They had to tell her she couldn’t, but she was so happy for them when they found the flowers she said, “oh, I’m so glad they found the flowers,” on her way to the stage. She did admit she wished she had been better able to process the wedding when it was happening, but she did feel a little freaked out because she’s such a control freak and had no control over what was happening.

As far as married life goes, it’s the same as before the wedding, but that was always great. They have mutual respect for each other and Andre even manages Joslyn. Although he can’t unhook a bra, he does help her prepare for her performances. We wish them all the happiness in the world.
