Drag queens are being asked to change their drag names on Facebook. The new policy is requiring them to change their “Facebook names” to their “real names.” Check out some of the outrage from queens like Heklina, Sister Roma and more…

“Fuck you Facebook! If you weren’t so important as a marketing tool I would quit you. You made me change my name. The “Grygelko” part is my real last name……” – Heklina

“I am officially PISSED OFF and creeped out by Facebook. I went to respond to a message from my Sister Unity and this is what I found. Morgan McMichaels made a plea to all social media followers to help spread the word. ┬áVenus D-Lite’s daughter Kiki is missing. ┬áVenus was a cast member of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3 and this call to action is something easy to do and so important.

While I know there is a heavy thirst to use social media to get people to vote for you and get people to hashtag you names there should be more emphasis on helping those who need it ! I implore you all to take a second out of checking the polls, looking at the comments and posting funny pictures of yourself and please help spread the word about this missing baby. We can have fun and get a really important message across at the same time. I would love to see her be able to watch Rupauls drag race season 7 or Allstars 2 , I would love to see some more posts from her about which character from coven she got in the online survey… POINT IS LETS DO SOME GOOD AND USE OUR VOICES FOR THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE US WHAT WE ARE !!
