Pride in Toronto means no high heels for the top 4 of last season’s RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Darienne Lake’s response was, “In Toronto, the meet and greet was in the soft grass, so we opted to wear flats. Also, we raised over $8000 ($20/picture) for the 519 foundation. We decided to do a double meet and greet to raise as much money as possible.”

The 519 is the hub of community life in Toronto’s diverse Church and Wellesley Village.  For over 35 years, The 519 has been working with our neighbors and our lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer (LGBTQ) communities to build healthy, welcoming spaces to meet, participate and celebrate together.
