My wife and I are the co-founders of DragQueensGalore.com.  We thought about creating this business because we didn’t see anything covering every aspect of Drag Queens.  We saw everyone covering the current stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race and the newest UK sensation, Drag Queens of London.

What we didn’t see were the Drag Stars from the past, before there was a RuPaul’s Drag Race or even a RuPaul, Drag Queen of all ages.  We didn’t see much about Lady Bunny nationally.  We didn’t see too much about stars dressing up as ladies, which doesn’t make them much of a Drag Queen.  But the forward thinking of some of the film makers from the mid 1900’s made leaps and bounds by adding men dressed as women.

The other thing we didn’t see was anyone mentoring people who weren’t on TV.  Not to mention, there were a whole bunch of performers who didn’t care to audition for the show due to their success in their own careers already.

So we tried to get a site up and going to expose the other, less known Drag Queens in history and the Queens we should know or may soon know.  We’re really interested in feedback from visitors to our site.  We’re looking for originality and a lot of fun.
